This policy explains how XPO Times (xpotimes.com) collects, uses and shares information when you visit https://xpotimes.com, create an account, post an event, or contact us. It is written to meet Google publisher and AdSense disclosure rules, including cookie and advertising notices, children's privacy, and user rights under laws such as the GDPR and similar rules.
XPO Times is a global B2B trade show intelligence and media platform covering trade fairs, expos, exhibitions, conferences and related business events. For privacy questions, email support@xpotimes.com.
We may collect:
We use information to operate and improve the site, publish and moderate listings, create and secure accounts, respond to support requests (including within 24 hours where we can), prevent fraud and abuse, measure traffic, and — where ads are shown — to serve, measure and, with the required consent, personalize advertising.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense and related Google advertising services. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Learn how Google uses data from partner sites in Google's advertising policies and Google's privacy policy. Google may also use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, and to combat fraud and abuse, including for non-personalized ads where the law still requires a storage/access consent.
Where required (including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we aim to obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or sharing data with Google for personalized ads, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy. A certified consent tool may be shown to visitors in those regions before personalized ads are served.
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the site. A preference cookie on this site remembers industries and a city or country you choose here, so the homepage can rank trade shows. It does not read cookies from other websites. If you allow location, we turn that into a city and country so nearby shows can rank first. We do not keep the coordinates or a history of where you have been. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful. Advertising cookies (including Google cookies such as those historically associated with DoubleClick / Google advertising) may be used to show and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may limit sign-in or other features.
Where those laws apply, we process personal data because it is needed to provide the service you request (for example an account or a listing), because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure directory, because we must meet a legal duty, or because you have given consent — especially for non-essential cookies and personalized advertising.
We share information with service providers who host the site, send email, process payments if you buy a product we offer, and with advertising and analytics partners such as Google when ads or measurement are used. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect XPO Times, our users or the public. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of selling a contact list. Some advertising laws treat sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising as a “sale” or “share”; you can opt out of personalized ads using the links above.
We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security and backup purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no website can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may have additional rights to know, delete and opt out of sale/share of personal information. To make a request, email support@xpotimes.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
XPO Times is a business events directory. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@xpotimes.com and we will delete it. This is consistent with COPPA and Google publisher rules that prohibit child-directed content in standard AdSense setups.
If you access the site from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection rules. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
