Automechanika Frankfurt ran from 8 to 12 September 2026, positioning Frankfurt as the European meeting point for the global automotive aftermarket. The event came before SEMA and AAPEX in Las Vegas in November.
Show reports put the edition at about 4,400 exhibitors and around 112,000 visitors. The offer covered parts, workshop equipment, body and paint, and alternative powertrains.
Stock, service and the autumn show calendar
The fair remains an important booking point for distributors and garage groups. These buyers continue to commit substantial budgets to service and spare parts, even as original-equipment manufacturers focus public attention on electric-vehicle launches.
Exhibitors also use Frankfurt as a European proof-of-stock week. The timing gives companies a reference point before later Middle East and US trade shows, when product availability and channel plans are tested again.
For organizers and buyers, the dense schedule makes the event more than a product display. It is part of the international trade shows calendar for Automotive, Transport and Spare Parts, with Messe Frankfurt providing the venue for discussions that continue across subsequent business events.
